ABOUT US

Bev and Ed Allen started Allens Bee Ranch about 40 years ago. They began by selling Queen Bees and packaged bees. Soon, they realized the bees were needed for arthritis, M.S or other ailments.

My husband and I started working for Bev and Ed in 2004. We took care of the hives, which were about 2000 at the time. It took forever, but we loved seeing that our hard work was paying off, by opening a hive and seeing the hive bustling with bees.

Allens Bee Ranch was sold, but the apitherapy (bvt) part of the business remained. We shipped every week to about 30 customers and shipped about 1000 bees.

In 2016, I became a partner of the business since we were getting a lot of Lyme disease customers and was to much work for Bev and Ed. I became a partner with the hopes of continuing the business for many more years to come. With the help of my husband and our 6 children (ages 33, 31, 25, 22, 20 and 13) loving the bees, we hope that the business will continue for generations.

In 2023 my husband and I bought the business. Bev and Ed are still here to help when needed and give advice.  They are not my biological parents, but I have always thought of them as nothing less than family. They have been there for me more than my real parents.

We wish you the best in your BVT journey!

In the future, will add customer accounts of bvt and how it is working in their lives.

~Rachelle, Bill our kids and also my adopted big brother Eric that has been helping pretty much every week for shipping.
